Janmashtmi was celebrated in all its true spirit and fervor on September 2, 2010. Special morning assembly was coloured with the implications of the day. Evening turn out full of frills and thrills incorporating ‘Pot Decorating Competition’ and spectacular event of ‘Matkiphod’. The girls of Kalpna Chawla House displayed great team work by breaking the ‘matki’ in only 8 seconds and ranked first in ‘Matkiphod’ competition. Rani Laxmibai House stood second breaking ‘matki’ in 12 seconds. The climax was reached when teachers also laid their hands to break the ‘matki’.
