India’s 62nd Republic Day was celebrated by Sarvanaman Vidya Mandir in a true patriotic fervor. The morning assembly was marked with the flag-hoisting ceremony followed by patriotic songs, dance and speeches by students and teacher. The Guest of Honour, P. Bhailalkaka hoisted the flag while the four troops, representing their respective houses, displayed symmetry, rhythm and unity through March Past. The audience was dipped into patriotic colour as students presented heart-touching patriotic songs and graceful dance. The concern for the nation’s welfare and its challenges were unfolded by the students as they promise to shoulder their responsibilities as committed youth of India. One of the teachers, Mr. Nilkanth Giri, masterly analysed achievements of India in recent years and the measures required for the mitigation of the problems faced by it.
