In today’s world English is assuming
increasingly importance so as the communicative skills. These skills are to
tend and nourish right from the beginning and hence the school organized an
English Story Telling Competition for grade I to V on 17th August 2012. The competition
was marked with amusement and applause as the students took their chance to
present their verbal skills in a graceful and vibrant way. The tiny tots
presented nice moral stories very likely to make a positive impact on the tender

Modern world is indeed the age of
communication and that too age of lightening communication. In any verbal
communication, language plays a vital role and the communicator has to an
effective and impressive communicator. Hence, speaking and oratory skills assume
a great value in modern day communication. With the aim to equip the SVM
students with effective oratory skills, school undergoes many activities one of
them being Elocution Competition. On Friday, August 17, 2012,
As many as 24 students shared their views and ideas on 24 different
topics which are of grave concern in current times. The participants displayed
their ability to express their ideas forcefully with the use of gestures and
voice modulation. The result of the
