Doha
is a form of self-contained rhyming couplet in poetry while the Shloka is a
verse, phrase, hymn of praise, usually composed in a specified meter. Doha and Shloka in Gujarati language provide the
deep knowledge and rich wisdom hidden in the Indian culture. On June 28,
2013 the students of Class VI to X participated in DOHA AND SHLOKA RECITATION
COMPETITION. It gave an opportunity to the students to pronounce, recite and
explain the Shloka and Doha correctly. Over twenty students participated in the
event that was brimming with enthusiasm and excitement.
