Yoga recharges the body with cosmic energy and
facilitates the attainment of perfect
equilibrium and harmony. Yoga bestows upon every aspirant the powers to control
body and mind. To practice and perform the same, an Inter-house Stretch and
Tone competition was organized for the grades I to XII in the assembly hall.
The performing Yogis were more aware of their body's posture, alignment and
patterns of movement. All the houses put their best foot forward to display the
potential for Yoga. The judges observed each and every round keeping the
parameters like timing, stability and clarity. A very unusual and special
rounds like Standing Posture, Long Sitting - Supine, Proline Posture and
Difficult Asanas made the contest enormously exclusive.
