Navratri
is a celebration dedicated to all the goddesses and asking for their blessings
in different aspects of a person’s life. This festival is a symbol of health
and prosperity. The school arranged for Navratri
celebration for its students on the evening of October 8, 2017.The event began
with ‘aarti’ and soon thereafter students of all the classes, dressed in
colourful traditional Gujarati costume, danced to the traditional Navratri
rhythms. It formed a wonderful portrait of colour, action, music and
togetherness. Also, students enjoyed delicious snacks served during the break
after which they switched over to another forms of garba. Indeed, the evening became an excellent example of
celebration of tradition with joy and fervour at its fullest.
