Farewell to Class XII Students

It had been an evening moist with blend of emotions as the school arranged for a farewell (Udaan) to the students of Class XII as they would leave for higher education. While there were feelings of proud and joy as the students setting off for a new beginning of their academic career, the sentiment of grief of departure perverted. Principal Mr. Borade Sir shared his feelings and in the same breath extended his ongoing support and best wishes to the departing students. Students and their parents also shared their experiences with regard to the school and thanked the school management, the principal, teachers and mentor Didis for their continuous support. P. Fuvaji blessed the outgoing students with pristine word of advice while extending his gratitude to all the parents for their faith and co-operation.

SVM Students Go Global

The world has shrunk considerably and no ideal school can stay satisfied by competing at local standards. In the age of globalization, it becomes inevitable to compete at international standards and assess one’s standing on global perspective. The students of Sarvanaman Vidya Mandir proved their mettle as they bagged respectable ranks in field of mathematical calculative ability and English spelling writing as they participated in the competition of World Maths Day and World Spelling Day. The age group falling to 11-13 years displayed noteworthy performance securing 9th position among all the schools of the world. Significantly, all the groups have secured world rank in first 50 groups. Special congratulation goes to Mihika Rathod (VIII) for securing 90th world rank in individual performance. The school congratulates all the participants for their brilliant performances and, at the same time, resolves to support and encourage students for better and improved performance day by day, year by year.
It will be interesting to mention that our sister institution, Atmiya School, Rajkot, managed by Yogi Divine Society, secured 1st world rank (4-7 Age Group) and 3rd world rank (8-10 Age Group) in World Spelling Day Competition. Also, Atmiya Vidya Mandir, Surat bagged 8th world rank (11-13 & 14-18 Age Group) in World Maths Day competition. Click on www.worldmathsday.com for more detail.
