Solo Singing Competition

Music fuels the mind and thus fuels our creativity. It also has a power to influence the way we dress, think, speak, and live our lives. The SVM listeners experienced the same When the vocalists of SVM performed  in a class wise Group Singing Competition. The soloists delivered exceedingly polished pieces of performance after dead right run through. It could whisk away on an extended journey and made time feel utterly frozen. Hearty congratulations to all the participants for taking the stage and performing to the delight of all students and teachers.

H.D.H. Hariprasad Swamiji’s divine vist at SVM

His Holiness Hariprasad Swamiji , the spiritual head of Yogi Divine Society, has been touring villages, towns and countries to inspire devotees for over four decades. A very long awaiting thirst to have His Darshan and blessings was quenched when Swami Shree sanctified the ambiance of SVM on 12^th April this year. Swami Shree sermonized the staff and the students very inspiringly, emphasizing on being fully religious minded and in the companionship of holy Sadhu...Bhagvadi.

Inter House Math Wizard Competition

Math Wizard Competition was organized on 10^th April 2015 for the class II to VI in the respective classes and for std. VII to X in the assembly hall. The students had to dodge multiplication tables mentally and write the answer. There were 3 rounds in all, Round 1 consisting of tables and its duration was 90 seconds. Round 2 consisting of addition, subtraction and basic math’s facts lasted for 60 seconds and Round 3 of 60 seconds consisted challenging math facts.

Each consecutive round was more challenging than the previous. Every student participated in all three rounds. There were three different categories of results. Rank 1, 2, 3 class wise, Rank 1, 2, 3, 4 house-class wise and Rank 1, 2, 3, 4 house wise.

The objectives behind this competition are.....

•  To encourage the students in dodging the multiplication tables mentally
• To perform basic four operations mentally
• To remember other basic facts of maths
• To enhance their interest in maths.

The students participated with utmost zeal and interest.
