15th August, 2011 - 65th Independence Day of the nation was celebrated in high rise of spirit of patriotism. At sharp 8 AM, the Guest of Honour P. Bhailal Kaka unfurled the flag and paid the salutation to Tiranga. Principal, Mr. Borade, in his analytical speech, emphasized the role that the youth has to play in shaping the future of India. In the cultural programme that followed the flag hoisting ceremony, students presented heart touching patriotic songs and graceful dances. Remarkably, the dances were choreographed by the students themselves thus revealing not only their talent but also their core patriotic feelings. The sense of pride overflowed as a PowerPoint Presentation - highlighting India’s contribution to the world - followed the students’ performances. The programme concluded with the vote of thanks offered by Mrs. Pranchi Pandey.
