Republic Day celebration



The 66th Republic Day of India was marked with great patriotism and enthusiasm in the central garden of school. The patriotic fervor of the Indian people on this day brings the whole country together even in her embedded diversity. To celebrate the day, the tricolor flag was hoisted and the National Anthem was sung. The next thrilling event was a house wise march past which was followed by the sterling performances of patriotic songs, poems, speeches and dances whipping up an atmosphere with inimitable spirit of nationalistic sentiments. The Principal addressed the gathering, upholding the spirit of patriotism and national pride.

Inter house Maths Quiz Contest





To assess the mathematical skills, proficiency and aptitude of the students, SVM, very lucratively hosted the Inter House Maths Quiz Competition. It created an opening for the teams of Grades VI to X, to bring their extreme potential on a common platform. The competition was conceptualized with various rounds like Passing, Visual, Game and Rapid Fire that provided rational and logical exposure to the contestants. After a brain teasing tussle among the teams, the Marie Curie house bagged the first position.

Annual Sports Meet 14-15





The Sports Day, the most eagerly awaited day, was celebrated splendidly in the school. The opening ceremony had begun with the school flag hoisting followed by prayer. The spectacular parade by the students followed by a lighting of the Sports Torch, presented a magnificent panoramic view. Mr K S Chauhan, the Director of sports, Narmada College, was the Guest of Honour who declared the opening of The Annual Sports Meet. The house captains took the oath. Some of the main attractions of the event were Mass Drill by Std VI to VIII, Lezium and Aerobics by Std XI and so on. In both the days of battle, 54 Athletic events and 5 team events were organized resulting into breath-taking climax. The evening of the last day was chock-a-block with medals and certificates for proud winners.
