Sharad Poornima Celebration



Close to the heels of Dussehra, The school celebrated an auspicious day in Indian calendar, Sharad Poornima. Let us delve deeper into this special day.The festival of Sharad Purnima, the full moon day, to celebrate and rejoice Guru Gunatitand Swami’s birthday and P.P.Hariprasadswamiji’s Bhagavati Dixa Din, was celebrated in the prayer hall. The cultural fiesta commenced with a devotional prayer and Shloka followed by Thakorji and P. Swamiji’s Poojan.
The programme was marked with a chain of events including bhajans, video presentations, personal experiences, enlightening speeches and of course swami ni vato narrated by the tiny tots. Incident on the life of Gunatitanand swami was gracefully acted by the students of primary classes. The skit on vachanamrut pratham 18 was preformed to a great extent. The event was concluded by the dance act on a bhajan, yuva mahotsav 2015 from VIII class students and was indisputably the major pursuit of the event. Students took hold of a very important message of not to watch movies and follow H.D.H. Swamidada’s all commands.

Navaratri Celebration



Navaratri represents a celebration of the Goddess of power. It happens to be the most auspicious and unique period of devotion and worship of the divine. The surroundings of SVM snowed under the beats of Garba and Dandia on two consecutive days 18th Oct. & 19th Oct when the school organized Garba Nights. The energy of the children in fabulous performances of Garba with colourful dresses grabbed the attention of the spectators in the central lawn. Traditional costumes, food, music, dance and much more.. became the part of the festivity. he students of Grades I to VIII were given a special chance to do Garba dancing in a form of competition. The Garba Girls played and danced Garba on the tune of astonishing lyrics composed for holy praise of goddesses and Swamiji.

Inter House English Elocution and Debate Competition





There is no denying that communication skills are essential in all aspects of life where Elocution and Debate refer to the study of proper public speaking, with particular attention paid to pronunciation, grammar, style, and tone. It cultivates not only student’s knowledge and expression, but also their confidence and logical ability which are exceedingly  advantageous throughout their lives. In Sarvanaman Vidya Mandir, every student in every class is trained to face an audience to enhance oral delivery.
Keeping this in mind following Inter house competitions were conducted by English Language Club.
