Dusshera Celebration
The
day of Dusshera forms a special significance for Sarvanaman Vidya Mandir as it
is the day on which P.P. Swamiji had his ‘Diksha’. The school celebrated the
day organizing two-hours cultural fiesta that commenced with Thakorji’s Poojan and most earnest
prayer. Nishtha and Vaishnavi of
class IX and Mahima from class XI narrated wonderful inspirational incidences
from the life of P.P. Swamiji while P. Sarvahit Madam shared her sublime views
over the significance of the day thus enthusing sublime qualities among the
students. Then followed melodious Bhajan
and a dramatic episode from Ramayan. Dance-Drama on P.P.Swamiji’s Diksha Din
that concluded the programme proved to be the crowning feather that enchanted
the audience with its life-sized presentation. The audience heartily felt that
they have witnessed a real ceremony of P.P. Swamiji’s Diksha Din and that
feeling indicates the height and depth of art and talent of SVM students.

Brain Ninja GK Quiz Competition
It seemed as if set of KBC was set in the school auditorium in
the evening of October 19, 2012 when the school arranged for GK Quiz
Competition for the students of Class VI to X. There is hardly any second
opinion regarding the importance of global awareness that has assumed a form of
prerequisite to succeed professionally and socially. The competition provided
the students an opportunity to gauge their general awareness and assess
themselves against the growing demand of global awareness in the world they are
going to step in after their academics. The nicely organized event also served
to the purpose of motivating students for increased critical observation, extra
reading and worthy discussion over a variety of subjects and issues. The
results of the competition are as given below:

Hindi Story Telling Competition
Story
telling has long been recognized as an important part of healing,
self-knowledge, and personal and spiritual vehicle for connecting us to other
people and to God . . . and if same is presented in the language which is well
verse with everyone in the world would surely bring a vibrant achievement and
grace to it thus to enhance the same quality, the school had organized Hindi
story telling competition on 19th October 2012 for class I to V. The different kinds of moral stories were
presented in jaunty manner. It was enthralling to hear the students narrating
their stories in Hindi with the action and expression so fascinating. The
strong efforts put on by the participants were apparently felt from the
positive feedback received from the judges. The results are mentioned here
