Dusshera Celebration

The day of Dusshera forms a special significance for Sarvanaman Vidya Mandir as it is the day on which P.P. Swamiji had his ‘Diksha’. The school celebrated the day organizing two-hours cultural fiesta that commenced with Thakorji’s Poojan and most earnest prayer. Nishtha and Vaishnavi of class IX and Mahima from class XI narrated wonderful inspirational incidences from the life of P.P. Swamiji while P. Sarvahit Madam shared her sublime views over the significance of the day thus enthusing sublime qualities among the students. Then followed melodious Bhajan and a dramatic episode from Ramayan. Dance-Drama on P.P.Swamiji’s Diksha Din that concluded the programme proved to be the crowning feather that enchanted the audience with its life-sized presentation. The audience heartily felt that they have witnessed a real ceremony of P.P. Swamiji’s Diksha Din and that feeling indicates the height and depth of art and talent of SVM students.
