Inculcating values among the students is one of the chief
aims of Sarvanaman Vidya Mandir. Hence, to sensitize students towards the
plight of old aged people who are turned out of their house to reside at
Old-age Home, the school organized a visit to Old-age Home for the students of
Class IX and X. On June 20, 2012, the students paid a visit to ‘Gharda Ghar’
located at Bharuch and interviewd its residents. They tried to make out the
forces and social trends that render the senior and respectable citizens into a
position to live away from their house and relations. Students reported their
observations and made a few suggestions of their own to curb this social
disease.
