Spelling is important because it aids
in reading. It helps cementing the connection that is shared between sounds and
letters. And hence, a Spelling Bee Competition was organized on 16th
June, 2017 in the school for classes I to XII. This competition was one out of
the numerous enjoyable competitions that give students a platform to learn
spellings in different ways. Such competition help students improve their
spellings, increase their vocabulary, learn concepts, and develop use of
correct English. Children participated earnestly in the three rounds of competition.
Interestingly enough, tie breaker round needed in most classes to finalize the
winners. The results are as given below:
