Ganeshotsav is the festival that has transformed into one of the biggest, most opulent, glittering fiesta drawing lakhs of devotees and tourists, with the biggest celebrations held across regions where Lord Ganesh has for generations been a reigning deity. As such, whole of the SVM fraternity was shifted into a festive gear with the arrival of idols of the elephant-headed Lord Ganesh for the five-day long Ganeshotsav on Tuesday, August 25, 2017.

Pandal – site for installation of idol of Lord Ganesha was decorated with pleasant lightings. The installation of Idol of Lord Ganesha was preceded by procession accompanied with beats of sound system. Students danced with enthusiasm and zeal to the beats of traditional instruments like drums and trumpets to welcome the Lord Ganesha. The last day of Ganeshotsav Celebration was observed with special Pooja and Worship. Immersion was carried out peacefully and lord Ganesha bid adieu to everyone and blessed us till he visits next year.
