Independence Day Celbration

Significance of Independence Day can better be conveyed through heart and actions rather than mere words. Nevertheless, Sarvanaman Vidya Mandir celebrated 66th Independence Day of India imbibing all colours of patriotism. In the morning assembly the Guest of Honour, Mr. B. J. Patel, hoisted the flag in the tune of national anthem. Cultural programme followed the flag hoisting ceremony and, indeed, it turned out a festive feast when students presented wonderful events like fusion of skit and dance, fusion of patriotic songs, patriotic speech, graceful formation of human pyramids and such breath taking maneuvers. While one of the teachers, Mrs. Hasumati, shared her high patriotic feelings instilling the students with the worth and value of real independence, the guest of honour, Mr. B. J. Patel, imparted a brief but significant message on sustenance and spread of real independence. Mrs. Krunali Thakkar extended vote of thanks and the programme concluded as all the audience sang national song tuned with the band music.
